Which European Cloud Providers Offer GPU Instances?

We checked all 30 providers in our comparison tool for GPU availability. 23 offer GPU compute in some form, 7 don't. Here's the full list with evidence links.

GPU demand is surging, but not every European cloud provider offers GPU compute. We checked all 30 providers in our comparison tool and documented what we found.

Criteria: The provider must offer GPU compute you can actually use — whether as cloud VM instances, GPU passthrough, vGPU, bare metal GPU servers, or GPU nodes for Kubernetes.

Note on bare metal and K8s GPU nodes: Hetzner, gridscale, and Aruba Cloud offer GPU hardware but not as standard cloud VM instances. Hetzner’s dedicated GPU servers can still run Kubernetes workloads (e.g. via K3s or Syself). gridscale offers per-minute bare metal GPU. Aruba Cloud federates GPU bare metal nodes into Kubernetes clusters via LIQO. These are viable for GPU workloads, just with a different provisioning model.

GPU Type Breakdown

  • Cloud VM: GPU-attached virtual machines you can provision via API or portal. The most flexible option.
  • Passthrough: Dedicated GPU hardware passed through to VMs via OpenStack or similar. Full GPU access, no sharing.
  • vGPU: Virtual GPU slices on shared hardware. Good for inference, less ideal for training.
  • Bare metal: Dedicated physical GPU servers. Full hardware access, separate ordering process.
  • K8s nodes: GPU bare metal nodes federated into Kubernetes clusters. Kubernetes-native but not traditional cloud VMs.

Last validated: February 2026. GPU availability changes frequently. If you spot an error, let us know.
